Bold, durable, and cheaper by the hundred.

Screen printing and DTG aren't rivals — they're tools for different jobs. Here's the honest call, so you order the right one.

Use screen printing

Volume & impact

  • Bulk runs — the price per piece drops as quantity climbs
  • Bold, solid, saturated color that sits up on the fabric
  • Specialty finishes — puff, high-density, jumbo
  • Built to survive wash after wash on premium blanks
Use DTG instead

Detail & low qty

  • Photographic art and unlimited colors in one pass
  • Small runs and one-offs with no screen setup
  • Full 24×24 coverage with fine gradients
  • Fast samples before you commit to a bulk run

How a run gets made.

01

Art & Separations

We prep your file and split it into spot-color separations — one screen per ink, aligned to register.

02

Burn the Screens

Each separation is exposed onto a coated mesh screen, then washed out to open the image.

03

Mix the Ink

Inks mixed to your color — Pantone-matched plastisol or water-based, ready for the press.

04

Press & Print

Screens load onto the press and the squeegee pulls each color in registration, piece after piece.

05

Cure

Every print runs through the dryer so the ink fully cures and locks in for the long haul.

06

Inspect & Pack

Checked piece by piece, folded, and packed to your spec — ready to ship or drop.

Questions, answered.

Screen printing starts at 50 pieces per design. Because screens are burned per color, the setup makes more sense the more you print — which is exactly where the price per piece starts dropping.

Up to 8 spot colors. Each color is its own screen, registered to the others. If your art has more colors or photographic gradients, DTG is usually the better call — we'll tell you straight.

Both. Pull from our premium blank catalog, or supply your own garments and we'll print on them. We'll confirm the fabric takes ink well before we run it.

Vector art (AI, EPS, PDF) is ideal for clean separations. High-res PNG works for most jobs. Send what you have — we handle the separations and registration in-house.

Typical turnaround is 7–10 business days after art and payment are approved. Rush options are available on bulk runs — ask when you request your quote.
